Egyptian side, Zamalek supporters have called for the immediate dismissal of head coach, Jose Peseiro, following their shock elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup.
The defending champions were knocked out of the tournament by South African side Stellenbosch on Wednesday.
Zamalek entered the second leg of the quarter-final with a slight advantage after a goalless draw in Cape Town the previous week.
However, Sihle Nduli’s decisive goal in the 79th minute left the White Knights stunned.
Peseiro, 65, was appointed as Zamalek’s head coach in February.
Under the Portuguese coach, Zamalek have recorded five wins, six draws, and two losses in their 13 matches across all competitions.
