A group, Ureshemi Solidarity Movement has appointed Hon. Jolly Joseph as director-general of Hon. Victor Ureshemi Akande’s political Movement.
This is to ensure the success of the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the September election.
Speaking during the official acceptance in Abuja, Hon. Victor Akande, a two-time House of Assembly aspirant from Akoko-Edo and senior legislative aide to the president of the Senate, said the appointment of Hon. Jolly Joseph is with immediate effect.
He described the DG of the support group as a renowned political strategist with a track record of delivering in every election, according to The Nation.
Hon. Jolly Joseph who was a former Ward 5 councillor in Akoko- Edo is charged with the task of canvassing support for the governorship candidates of the APC in the September 21st governorship election by embarking on a relentless campaign, traversing the length and breadth of Akoko-Edo to garner support and rally the masses behind the vision of Sen. Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Idahosa.
He thanked the former House of Assembly aspirant for finding him worthy of the assignment.
The director general promised to roll out a holistic blueprint towards the campaign and election victory of the All Progressives Congress in Edo North and Akoko Edo in particular.
