The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, has approved the creation of the Ministry of Aviation and Technology in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner, Kenneth Igwe, on Saturday in Abakaliki, the state capital.
Peoples Gazette reported that, in furtherance to the newly created ministry, Obianuju Alo has been immediately appointed a special adviser to the governor on aviation and technology.
The statement read in part, “In the further effort of the Ebonyi State government to provide good governance and effective service delivery to the people of the state, the governor has approved the creation of the Ministry of Aviation and Technology.
“The new ministry will provide the administrative and quality framework to streamline and strengthen the smooth take off of Ebonyi State Aviation System.
“The general public should please take note.”
