Borussia Dortmund boosted their hopes of securing a European Cup spot next season with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The win sees BVB climb to seventh in the table, narrowing the gap to just four points behind the Champions League spots with four matches remaining. Meanwhile, Mönchengladbach slipped to ninth place.
Ko Itakura opened the scoring for the hosts in the 24th minute, giving Gladbach the early advantage.
However, Dortmund mounted an impressive comeback just before halftime. Serhou Guirassy struck in the 41st minute, followed by goals from Felix Nmecha (44′) and Daniel Svensson (45+5′), turning the tide and handing the visitors a 3-1 lead at the break.
Kevin Stöger pulled one back for Mönchengladbach from the penalty spot in the 56th minute, but it wasn’t enough to deny Dortmund all three points.
