A Lagos State High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square has sentenced Andrew Nice Ominikoron, a driver with the Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, to death by hanging for the murder of Bamise Ayanwola, a 22-year-old fashion designer.
Justice Sherifat Sonaike delivered the judgment on Friday, concluding a highly publicized trial that has captured national attention since Ayanwola’s disappearance and subsequent death in 2022.
