Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has passed vote of confidence on the Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia and Deputy, Sam Ode.
This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the party’s stakeholders’ meeting in Makurdi on Thursday.
The party also passed a vote of confidence on President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
The communique read by the state chairman of the party, Austin Agada, also nullified the gale of suspensions that rocked the party including the indefinite suspension of some appointees and loyalists of the state governor, according to Daily Post.
Agada said, ” For the avoidance of doubt, the party has a working constitution, rules and procedures to which the suspension process has to be followed.
“Even when the suspension is carried out using the right procedures, it must be ratified by the State Working Committee of the party before it can be announced and effected accordingly.”
