The Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has stated that all governors of the All Progressives Congress, are working for the presidential candidate of the Party, Bola Tinubu.
According to Daily Post, Bagudu, also dismissed the claims that some governors are negotiating with the Peoples Democratic Party, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
He disclosed this during APC presidential campaign rally in Kano on Wednesday.
“All our governors are in support of Tinubu’s candidacy.
“The claims by some people that some APC governors are negotiating with the opposition are false. All our governors are in support of Tinubu’s candidacy.” He said.
His denial came in response to River’s State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s claim that some APC governors were collaborating with Atiku.
He said this at the flag-off of a road project in Rivers on Friday.
“They said we had meeting with so and so. What is your problem? Assuming there was a meeting, has Atiku not been holding meetings with governors of APC?
“Ask him. As he is in Dubai, don’t we know what is going on? So, why do you bother about us? G5 that you said you can win without us; leave us alone, He said.
