The Youth wing of the All Progressives Congress is set to host the inaugural Enterprise-Skills Development Training from July 8 to 12.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive four-year plan aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and social justice among young Nigerians.
In a statement, APC National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel, announced that the program would attract 4,000 participants, both in-person and virtual.
“Participants will engage in case discussions, experience sharing and teamwork to develop understanding of what is required to build and sustain businesses and drive innovations in firms or new SMEs,” Dr. Israel said.
The training will cover a wide range of sectors, including the freelance economy, FMCG, e-commerce, mini-importation, consumer packaged goods, agriculture, media and entertainment, ICT, and hospitality.
Notable attendees will include APC National Chair, Umar Ganduje, members of the National Working Committee, ministers, and governors, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu serving as the chief host.
