The Labour Party has described the ruling All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party are confused over its structure.
According to The Punch, a chieftain of the LP, Abayomi Arabambi, said this, adding that the APC and the PDP lacked an understanding of the operations of the LP.
APC and PDP have mocked the third forces party following its internal discord on the formation of the Presidential Campaign Council.
The Labour Party had announced 1,234 members as its PCC and Dr Doyin Okupe, was declared as the Director-General but some members of the party kicked against the campaign council.
APC and PDP further slammed the Labour Party which they described as lacking the structure to establish its presence in every state of the federation.
In his reaction, Arabambi said the controversy on the formation of the LP PCC had been resolved and a new list would be unveiled next week.
He added that the APC and PDP were only confused and speaking in ignorance about its structure.
Arabambi said, “If anybody would accept the fact that there were issues in the announcement of the Campaign Council and they are now saying the party doesn’t have structure, It’s very obvious that they are confused about the parameters we use in our operations.
“We have just finished a press conference now where we agreed that there were omissions and corrections are being made, which is normal for human beings. Nigerians are yearning for a change through our presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who will deliver dividends of democracy.”
