Anambra monarch, Igwe Dr. K.O.N Orizu III, has declared a three-day mourning period to honour the late Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, who passed away in the United Kingdom.
The monarch invited the people of Nnewi and non-indigenous residents to join in mourning the loss of this illustrious son of Nnewi.
The mourning period, which commenced on July 30th, 2024, and will conclude on August 1, 2024, is a testament to the profound impact Senator Ubah had on the community, according to Nigerian Tribune.
The late Senator Ubah was a renowned figure in Nnewi, celebrated for his contributions to the community’s development.
The monarch’s declaration is a fitting tribute to his memory, and clergies from different religious groups have been invited to lead their congregations in prayers for the peaceful repose of Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
