Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has berated stakeholders after failing to celebrate his ‘kind gesture’ of sacrificing his security votes for infrastructural development in the state.
Inside Osogbo reported that Adeleke expressed his displeasure at the maiden edition of the state governor’s interactive session with indigenes of the state on Thursday, October 5.
He announced that upon assuming office, he was told that he had security votes of about N500 million to N600 million, but told the state officials to redirect the money into developmental projects in the state.
However, Adeleke felt a bit displeased after the guests at the event were not expressive of their appreciation for his decision.
Berating the stakeholders, the Governor said, “if it were in America, people would have stood up and clapped for 20 minutes”.
