The All Progressives Congress, has revealed why it suspended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
According to The PUNCH, in a letter provided by the ward of the SGF, Gwadabawa Ward, Jimeta, signed by an official of the party, Muazu Kabiri, the party claimed that the SGF did not make meaningful contribution to the party during the elections.
Kabiri bemoaned the SGF’s loss of his polling unit in the presidential and governorship elections to the Peoples Democratic Party.
He added that the indefinite suspension was imposed in response to complaints from his ward, and that no individual could be above the party that provided them with the platform.
It would be recalled that the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu also lost his polling unit to the opposition during the just concluded presidential and governornship election in Nigeria.
