A Media aide to the Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has revealed that he respects the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu than Pastors Tunde Bakare of the Global Citadel and Community Church and Paul Eneche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre over his ability to keep to his campaign promises.
Omokri who knocked the two Nigerian Pastors over their unguided utterances during the last presidential election, through his Twitter handle on Wednesday, disclosed that a politician who keeps his promises is more honourable than a pastor with failed prophecies.
“A politician that keeps his campaign promises is one hundred times better than a pastor whose prophecies do not come to pass,” he wrote.
Citing the current President as an example, Omokri who claimed that he never supported Tinubu because of his past, especially with the Chicago white heroin cartel, said the president has impressed him with his performance in the last 2 weeks.
“Nevertheless, in the last two weeks, he has impressed me with his performance,” Omokri wrote.
The PDP Chieftain who further dragged the men of God for their utterances said, Tinubu is more honoured than them.
He said, “And I have more respect for him than for men of God, like pastors Tunde Bakare, Paul Enenche, and many others, who sullied themselves with their utterances and actions during #NigerianElections2023.”
Nigeria had on Saturday, February 25, 2023, conducted its presidential election, but building up to the election was very tough and divisive along ethnic and religious lines, with many men of God giving prophecies that Tinubu will lose with his Muslim/Muslim ticket, why some said his health challenges will work against him.
However, he defeated his closest rivals, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, who many people believe and various opinion polls posited to be the winner of the election.
