Former Nigerian international, Friday Ekpo, has commended the Flying Eagles for their solid performance in the ongoing 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, following a goalless draw against Morocco.
With four points from two matches, Nigeria’s U-20 team shares the top spot in Group B alongside Morocco and will now turn their attention to a crucial final group stage clash against Kenya on Wednesday.
Reflecting on the draw, Ekpo applauded the team’s efforts in securing a valuable point and emphasized the importance of maintaining focus ahead of the decisive fixture.
“I am impressed with the Flying Eagles goalless draw against Morocco. It was a good result to have picked up four points from two games.
“At this junction, the players must focus on their next game against Kenya, knowing fully that a win against Kenya will secure their qualification to the next round.”
