Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has praised this week’s Champions League semi-final clashes, describing both encounters as “unbelievable”.
On Tuesday night, Paris Saint-Germain edged past Arsenal with a 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium, while the following day saw Inter Milan and Barcelona serve up a pulsating 3-3 draw.
The second leg of Inter vs. Barcelona is set for next Tuesday at the San Siro, with Arsenal heading to the Parc des Princes the following day for their return fixture against PSG.
Reflecting on the high-stakes drama, Guardiola commented on Thursday, “I was surprised how nice was the game.
“So thanks to these types of games the stadiums will never, ever be empty, and our business will grow up.
“So I can just be grateful for the two semi-finals because both were unbelievable, especially yesterday’s game.
“Next Tuesday and Wednesday will be incredible, the two games. I think they’re four fantastic teams and they deserve to be there.”
