The All Progressive Congress supporters group has commended Senator Abdulazeez Yari for awarding scholarships to over 1,700 indigenes of Zamfara State.
The scholarships, aimed at supporting poor students with excellent grades, have enabled beneficiaries to pursue higher education in various universities across the North West zone.
According to the group’s state coordinator, Abubakar Limanchi, Senator Yari’s gesture demonstrates his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Zamfara’s citizens.
His achievements as governor, including constructing over 1,500 kilometers of roads and rehabilitating 7,000 primary schools, have left a lasting impact, according to Nigerian Tribune.
Senator Yari’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond his tenure as governor. He continues to provide essential welfare packages to citizens across the state’s 147 wards, transcending religious and tribal boundaries.
