The Peoples Democratic Party is in mourning following the tragic loss of Dr. Faisal Ahmed Makarfi, son of former Kaduna State Governor and current Secretary of its Board of Trustees, Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
Dr. Faisal Makarfi’s life was cut short in a devastating car crash in Kaduna.
In a heartfelt statement signed by Acting Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi, the PDP extended its deepest condolences to the Makarfi family. The party prayed for Allah to grant the family the strength to endure this immense loss, expressing profound grief over the sudden demise.
As the PDP grapples with this tremendous loss, they announced that the funeral will take place in Makarfi town, Kaduna State, allowing friends, family, and supporters to pay their respects to Dr. Faisal Makarfi.
This somber news comes at a challenging time for the PDP, which has been actively engaged in various political activities, including a recent press conference addressing the activities of the All Progressive Congress, the Police, and Independent National Electoral Commission ahead of the September 21, 2024 Governorship Election in Edo State.
