Governors Uba Sani of Kaduna State and Hyacinth Alia of Benue State have emphasized that Nigeria’s success is vital for the prosperity of the entire African continent.
They warned that Nigeria cannot afford to fail, as it would have far-reaching negative consequences for Africa.
Speaking at a lecture organized by Arewa Think Tank to celebrate President Bola Tinubu’s one-year achievements, Alia stressed that diversity should be a strength, not a source of conflict. He praised Tinubu’s policies, which he believes will bring unity and greatness to Nigeria despite religious and ethnic differences.
Sani echoed Alia’s sentiments, urging Nigerians to support President Tinubu, who he said means well for the country.
He acknowledged the current hardship but emphasized the need for unity of purpose to achieve peace and progress.
Both governors highlighted Tinubu’s contributions to democracy and his commitment to infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture, according to Leadership.
They encouraged Nigerians to embrace diversity and support the president’s efforts to build a prosperous Nigeria, which is crucial for Africa’s success.
