The All Progressives Congress has extended the screening of its aspirants for the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State to Friday, April 12, 2024.
The APC made this known in a message on the party’s official X page, @OfficialAPCNg on Wednesday.
According to the party, the development came as a result of the declaration of Thursday, as part of the Eid-el-Fitr holiday, by the Federal Government.
“Due to the inclusion of Thursday, April 11, as a public holiday by the Federal Government for Eid-el-Fitr, all aspirants are requested to attend the screening on Friday, April 12, at the party’s national secretariat,” the party said.
According to the Daily Post, a total of 16 aspirants were expected to be screened, ahead of the April 20 APC primaries in the State.
