As the world celebrates International Women’s Day on Friday, former Senate President Bukola Saraki advocated for women’s values.
Saraki who made the call while celebrating women via a post on his X handle on Friday, said he stands committed to building a world where women’s voices are heard and their contributions are valued.
International Women’s Day is a day when women are celebrated across the world, for their immense contributions.
However, Saraki celebrated the women who have contributed immensely to his success.
Among those who were celebrated by the former Governor of Kwara State, was his Mother, Mrs Florence Saraki, his wife, Toyin Saraki and his daughters.
“I am always inspired by the strong women in my life: my mother, who instilled in me the values of fairness and strength; my darling wife, my partner in everything; and my daughters, who show me the boundless potential of the future.
“As a leader and someone who works alongside amazing women every day, I stand committed to building a world where women’s voices are heard and their contributions are valued.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay #IWD,” Saraki tweeted.
