A former lawmaker who represented Kaduna South Senatorial District at the Senate, Senator Shehu Sani, has described Nigeria as the only country in the world, that does not have a museum in its capital city.
Sani claimed while disclosing how President Bola Tinubu was being taken around the Qatar Museum by the Emir of the country during his visit to Qatar.
According to him, there is no museum to take the Emir to, if he visits President Tinubu in Nigeria.
The former Kaduna lawmaker further claimed that despite budget after budget, Nigeria remains the country that does not have a national museum, the countries in the world.
Sani also claimed that since the termination of the former Director-General of the National Museum, no one has been able to occupy his vacant position.
“I saw the President in the Qatar Museum. If the Emir of Qatar visits Abuja, there is no Museum to take him to.
“Budget after budget, Nigeria is the only country in the World without a Museum in its capital city.
“Right now, since the termination of the former DG of the National Museum, the new one is yet to take over,” Senator Sani tweeted.
