The All Progressives Congress has applauded the Supreme Court on its verdict on six states which battled for governorship seat.
The party, in a statement by its national publicity secretary, Mr Felix Morka, noted that the judgement was in tandem with the dictates of the law.
Recall that the apex court affirmed APC’s gubernatorial mandates in Gombe, Ogun, Nasarawa, Kaduna, and Kebbi states.
However, the court decided in favour of the opposition in Delta State.
“In every contest, you win some and lose some but we must all continue to submit to the dictates of the rule of law and constitutional order.
“We congratulate the winners, particularly our Governors, Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Uba Sani (Kaduna) and Nasir Idris (Kebbi),” the party noted.
The party urged all to remain calm and peaceful.
