Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has urged its supporters to remain calm as the Supreme Court delivers judgement in the last governorship election in the state.
The State chairman of the party, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, made the call in a statement issued through the state publicity secretary of the party, Comrade Yusuf Idris Gusau.
This came as an aftermath of the meeting with security agencies that anyone caught with any form of arm or weapon before or after the judgement will face the full wrath of the law, according to Daily Post.
The Chairman noted with appreciation the way the party’s supporters have been conducting themselves even when they are provoked and urged them “to remain steadfast in their good manners in maintaining law and order which is the party’s watchword.
“We are calling on all our party supporters especially the youth wing to remain law abiding and be prayerful,” he added.
