The ruling All Progressives Congress has celebrated Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, on the anniversary of his 64th birthday.
The APC in a post on its official X handle on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, hailed Governor Sule, on the special occasion of his birthday.
The party in its birthday message to the Governor, prayed that the good lord should bless him with long life, divine wisdom and sound health.
The Nasarawa Governor, who has been in a legal battle to continue his second term in office, was declared the winner of the March 18 Governorship election in the state, by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Meanwhile, his contestant from the Peoples Democratic Party, David Obungandu, was able to secure victory at the state election tribunal, after seeking to nullify Governor Sule’s victory.
However, Sule who was dissatisfied with the tribunal judgement, approached the Appeal Court and was able to secure his victory, through the appeal court judgement which affirmed his earlier victory at the poll.
Celebrating the Governor on Tuesday, APC tweeted: “Happy 64th birthday, Your Excellency. On this special occasion, we pray for your long life, divine wisdom and excellent health.”
