The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, has appreciated the distinguished guests who graced his grand reception ceremony organized by the North Central Governors Forum.
The event was held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Friday.
In attendance was Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister-designate Dele Alake and others.
Akume took to his X handle on Saturday night to appreciate the Governors Forum for the reception ceremony which was to felicitate with him on his appointment as the SGF to President Bola Tinubu.
He wrote, “Overwhelmed by the Grand Reception of the North Central Governors Forum, celebrating my appointment as the 20th SGF. Thanks to Mr. President @officialABAT,represented by the VP @officialSKSM. Also deeply grateful to the Senate President, House Speaker & all attendees at the event.”
