President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday joined other African leaders to attend the 63rd independence anniversary of the Republic of Benin in Cotonou.
The President was accompanied to the independence anniversary by a group of his political aides as well as six governors, namely Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State.
Also, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, the Governor of Kwara State, Nasir Idris, the Governor of Kebbi State, and Mohammed Umar Bago, the Governor of Niger State followed Tinubu.
This occasion signifies the third encounter between Tinubu and the President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, subsequent to the latter’s accession of the presidential position.
