The Lawmaker representing Rogo on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Yusuf Falgore, has emerged as Speaker of the 10th Kano House of Assembly.
Lawmakers nominated Falgore shortly after the proclamation of the assembly by Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf on Tuesday in Kano, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Mohammed Bello Butu-Butu (NNPP-Rimingado-Tofa) was also nominated as the deputy speaker by the lawmakers.
Thereafter, the house clerk, Ali Maje, swore in the duo.
