As the new President, Bola Tinubu continue to gather a team of individuals, who are going to work in his government, there is all indication that he might have pencilled down the name of the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu, as the National Security Adviser.
A clue to this fact was given by a former Federal lawmaker from Kaduna State, Sheu Sani on his Twitter handle on Sunday.
Sani had posted on his verified Twitter handle that the former EFCC chairman would be faced with the challenge of addressing the country’s security issues, as the new NSA.
“The appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as the new NSA is commendable. I was quite aware of the vicious and envious persons who ensured that Ribadu was denied any appointment in the last eight years because of the reason that he was not a Buhari. The challenge before him is addressing our security challenges.
“I wish him all the best,” he wrote.
Ribadu, who was born in Adamawa State on November 21, 1960, attended Aliyu Mustapha Primary School Yola, from 1966 to 1973, and Yelwa Government Secondary School between 1973 and 1977 respectively.
He attended College for Preliminary Studies Yola for his A-level studies from 1979 to 1980 and was admitted to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1980 while graduating in 1983.
He graduated from the Nigerian law school and was called to the bar in 1984.
Nuhu Ribadu was appointed as the first EFCC Chairman during the administration of former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
Meanwhile, there have been speculations that he might have been listed among the possible names, who will be working in this dispensation, because of his loyalty, integrity and brilliance, which he had displayed in many instances.
