As part of the election-related consultations, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last presidential election, Gregory Peter Obi visited the Head of the Commonwealth election Observer Mission in Nigeria, Thabo Mbeki, second time today.
The former governor of Anambra State, who lost the presidential election to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has since rejected the outcome of the election, claiming that he won the election.
Mr Obi, who alledged that the INEC rigged the election, in favour of Asiwaju Tinubu, he revealed that he and his party, will seek legal redress in the court.
While making his visit known to the public, through his Twitter handle today, Obi wrote, “As part of an ongoing election-related consultations, I have met twice with the former President of South Africa and Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission to Nigeria, H.E. Mr. Thabo Mbeki and his Team. The discussions were quite constructive. -PO.”
