The candidate of the Labour Party, to represent Isialangwa North and South Federal Constituency, of Abia State, at the federal House of representatives, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe had been declared the winner of the Saturday’s national assembly election in state.
Ginger, who was an ex council boss, contested with the immediate past Chief of Staff in the state, Professor Anthony Agbazuere, who is an anointed candidate of the former governor, Okezie Ikpeazus, and a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the election.
Ginger won the election with a score of 20, 411 votes, against his opponent, Agbazuere who scored 13, 508 votes.
The victory of Ginger, who won Agbazuere even in his local government, has been celebrated, throughout his community.
