Over 300 voters at Lekki, Dowen College PU 071 are still awaiting the arrival of the Independent National Electoral Commission officials as at 2:04pm.
Speaking about the situation at the polling unit was a registered voter, simply identified as Kola.
He said, “Most of us have been here since like 8 o’clock, I trecked here in the morning just to exercise my civil right and till now as I’m talking to you I’ve not voted. In fact, we’ve not seen any INEC official here today.
“We’ve spoken to so many people, in fact, there were some INEC election monitoring people that came from Abuja and we spoke with them, we told that we’ve not been able to vote here and immediately they said they are calling people, that we should expect INEC here very soon and we’ve not seen anybody.”
