The All Progressives Congress, Oyo State Chapter has inaugurated the state’s presidential and governorship campaign council for the 2023 general elections.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Director-General of the campaign council Dr. Isiaka Kolawole expressed confidence that the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Senator Teslim Folarin would emerge victorious in the coming polls.
He stated that the campaign council would collaborate with the reconciliation committee led by Senator Olufemi Lanlehin.
He went on to say that the goal is to establish ultimate reconciliation and harmony among all party members.
“We are assuring the good people and residents of Oyo State that the next government under Senator Folarin will restore the security of lives and property.
“We have also taken note of the deficit in infrastructure and the comatose state of education, which we have already addressed in our superb manifesto. Beginning from 29 May 2023, the Folarin administration will restore citizens’ faith in the state through humane policies and effective leadership.”he said.
