The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, on Wednesday, criticized the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, for celebrating the honorary citizenship conferred on him in the United States.
The former Anambra State governor on Wednesday via his Twitter account disclosed that he was conferred honourary citizenship of Dallas.
While reacting, Sowore berated Peter Obi for celebrating the honorary citizenship.
According to him, the honorary citizenship is “worthless” and that he has been scammed.
Sowore tweeted, “No wonder #PeterObi clearly stated he’s got no ideology different from #atiku and the rest, for him to be celebrating the conferment of ‘honorary citizenship’ of Dallas shows he’s got no clue that the award is not even worth the paper it was printed upon. Someone scammed him!”
