Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, was reportedly involved in a car accident on Wednesday, his spokesman, Sergii Nykyforov, confirmed.
According to The BBC, Zelensky has been examined by a doctor and no serious injury was found.
Nykyforov noted that all the circumstances of the traffic accident were being investigated by law enforcement officers. He provided no further details.
It was reported that the driver of the car that collided with the presidential motorcade was treated at the scene and driven away in an ambulance.
This is coming after President Zelensky, visited the recaptured city of Izyum, a key logistics hub in north-eastern Ukraine, on Wednesday.
