Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has once again been recognized for her outstanding performances in France, earning a nomination for the Best Goalkeeper award in the 2024/25 French Arkema Premier League.
Nnadozie is aiming to retain the title she claimed last season, when she outperformed top contenders, Olympique Lyon’s Christiane Endler and Paris Saint-Germain’s Katarzyna Kiedrzynek, to clinch the prestigious honour.
In addition to that triumph, the 24-year-old also bagged the Best Goalkeeper award from the National Union of Professional Footballers, marking a historic moment as the first African and Nigerian to receive both distinctions.
This campaign, the Paris FC shot stopper is once again in elite company, as she goes head-to-head with PSG’s Mary Earps and Lyon’s Endler for the coveted individual prize.
Nnadozie has recorded 10 clean sheets this season, compared to Endler’s 13 and Earps’ eight.
Since her arrival in France in 2020, the former Rivers Angels standout has steadily built a reputation as one of Europe’s finest goalkeepers.
Her dominance is not limited to the club level, having been named Best Goalkeeper at the CAF Awards for the past two consecutive years.
