Popular Nigerian socialite, Pretty Mike, has once again stirred controversy with his dramatic entrance at the 50th birthday celebration of prominent businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.
The lavish party, held on Saturday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, was themed “50 for 50” and was graced by an array of high-profile Nigerian celebrities including Kanayo O. Kanayo, Kennedy Okonkwo, Cubana Chief Priest, AY Makun, E-Money, Daddy Freeze, Jowizaza, and Zubby Michael, among others.
True to his trademark of making bold and theatrical statements at social gatherings, Pretty Mike showed up at the celebration accompanied by an entourage of 50 individuals dressed as accident victims. Each of them was heavily bandaged, portraying different degrees of injury, from head wraps to arm slings and body casts, creating a scene reminiscent of a hospital emergency ward.
Sharing videos of his act from the event on Sunday, he wrote, “If given the opportunity, Master Obi Cubana wouldn’t mind been the savior of mankind, his heart is an exceptional one, his doing is unexplainable….. 50 for 50. whatever u do in life learn to appreciate other and pls let’s stop this senseless killings going on around the country and most recently Pray for the 52 souls Massacred in Bokkos Plateau state.”

The dramatic appearance instantly stole the spotlight at the event, overshadowing even the grandeur of the birthday celebration itself. While some guests appeared amused or intrigued, others were visibly uncomfortable or critical of the controversial act.
The display has since gone viral, triggering a wide range of reactions on social media. While a section of users applauded the creativity and financial effort involved in the stunt, many others condemned it as insensitive and inappropriate for the occasion.
@BigAyo remarked, “The fact they let him in to do this rubbish all the time.”
@realgazakure quizzed, “Is this a ritual message or dark magic humor message?”

@teabisz condemned the act stating, “Aaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh! Accident victim costume? Come on… What’s the plan and wish? Dear God, may we all be successful so that we don’t just take any job all in the name of hustling.”
On the other hand, some praised Pretty Mike for his creativity and the logistical investment involved.
@chimaizuobi praised Pretty Mike stating, “Some of the ‘accident victims’ pulling these stunts will be costing Pretty Mike millions plus transporting them to Abuja.”
@jaynephfa questioned the idea behind the act writing, “What does this now mean, is he wishing Obi Cubana accident? Just see people future wives. I pour all if them spit for face pueerrrr.”
@HyperDrive001 hailed the consistency of the controversial celebrity stating, “You have to give it to him. Pretty Mike is consistent. How does he come up with his weird ideas tho?”
