The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has included the beneficiaries of the Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project in his Sustainable Actions for Economic Recovery in the state.
This was announced in an explainer video released by the state government on Wednesday via its X handle.
According to the video, “The support for youth agropreneurs provides enterprise support to youths trained under the Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project (YEAP) who already have established businesses. The Oyo State Government has committed N500 million to this.
“YEAP beneficiaries with established businesses will benefit from access to the N500 million fund to support their business ventures. This will in turn, ensure the businesses continue to contribute to the growth of the Oyo State economy.
“Details of how YEAP beneficiaries with established businesses will be picked to benefit from the enterprise support will be publicised by the relevant agencies.”
