Heavy security presence is at the Abuja division of the Court of Appeal, ahead of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal sitting scheduled to commence on Monday.
According to FRCN, as of 8:33 this morning, the courtroom was yet to be opened as most lawyers and journalists waited outside the court.
Although, the court is expected to sit at 10 am, which had always been a tradition in cases like this.
According to the case list released by the registry, the first petition to be heard is that of the Action Alliance and its candidate Solomon Okanigbuan, followed by the Action People’s Party, then that of Peter Obi and Labour Party, Allied Peoples Movement and lastly that of Atiku Abubakar and PDP.
All parties are challenging the outcome of the February 25, 2023, Presidential Elections that produced Bola Tinubu as the President-Elect.
