Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has emphasized the need for collective effort and accountability to achieve Nigeria’s greatness.
Sanwo-Olu made the call at the 2024 Annual Directors Conference, themed “Business Meets Government Dinner,” held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. He was represented by his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The governor stressed that Nigerians must take ownership of their responsibilities and do what is right, rather than complaining about others.
He noted that the country’s success depends on individual actions and accountability, according to Independent.
Sanwo-Olu identified the family unit as a critical area requiring attention, stating that strong family values are essential for a nation’s prosperity. He emphasized that building and strengthening family units can lead to a country’s greatness.
The conference aimed to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors, promoting sustainable development and growth.
