The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 25 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, said the protest by the party at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday is going to be a continuous one.
The PUNCH reported that he said, “In fact, this protest will continue for a very long time, either every day or any other day,” Atiku told Arise TV reporter in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, during the Monday protest.
Premium Politics had earlier reported that Atiku led the PDP governors and leaders as well as supporters to storm INEC office in Abuja, wearing black clothes in protest against the results of the just concluded presidential election.
The presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was declared winner of the presidential election upon polling 8,794,722 votes, to defeat close rivals, such as, Atiku of PDP; Peter Obi of Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
