Police and youths have stormed the All Progressive Congress Secretariat in Makurdi on Thursday, setting up a blockade ahead of a scheduled caucus meeting led by Comrade Austin Agada.

The Benue State Independent Electoral Committee has announced October 5 as the date for the Local Government polls in Benue state, fueling tensions within the party.
