The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, received the United States trade delegation led by US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Marisa Lago.
According to a statement issued via the Governor’s X handle, the meeting was towards bolstering economic ties between Lagos and the USA.
Sharing pictures from the meeting, he wrote, “I had the honour of hosting the U.S trade delegation led by US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Marisa Lago. We discussed ways to bolster economic ties between Lagos and the USA.
“Lagos is at the forefront of economic expansion in Africa, and today’s meeting with the U.S delegation reaffirms our commitment to growth.
“We look forward to strategic interventions and collaboration from productive discussions. Thank you, Ms. Lago, for recognizing our state’s pivotal role on the continent.”
