Former President Jonathan alongside other members of the Commonwealth Observer Group on Thursday, visited some polling stations in Islamabad, Pakistan.
This was disclosed in a post by former President Jonathan on his official X handle, on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
The former Nigerian President noted that the country has just opened the polls for its general elections.
He however wished the Pakistani people peaceful and successful elections.
“I set out early this morning with members of the Commonwealth Observation Group (COG), to visit some polling stations in Islamabad as polls opened in Pakistan’s general elections.
“I wish the people of Pakistan peaceful and successful elections.
