President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has told the American people that he will be running in 2024 for a second term.
According to the UK Guardian, made this known in a television interview.
He said “I plan on running … but we’re not prepared to announce it yet,”.
The 80-year-old Mr Biden and US Vice-President Kamala Harris have said they will run together.
Biden was elected as US president in 2020 after defeating incumbent president, Donald Trump in an election that was marred with violence.
Biden, a democrat, is the 46th US president.
