Popular Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, widely known as Mayorkun, has disclosed that he is no longer single, sparking speculation among fans about a possible secret marriage.
The ‘Cheche’ crooner made the revelation during a recent interview with Arise TV, where he gave subtle yet firm responses about his current relationship status.
“I am off the market. There is no chance for any other girl,” Mayorkun stated, confirming that he is in a committed relationship.
When asked to reveal the identity of his partner, the singer declined to share any details, keeping the mystery alive.
“I am not going to mention my partner’s name or give any details about her now. My fingers are crossed on that. But eventually, everyone will know her,” he added.
The announcement came as a surprise to many fans, as Mayorkun had previously kept his personal life out of the spotlight and had not hinted at being in a serious relationship in recent times.
Mayorkun’s last known relationship was with British model, Cocainna. In October 2023, he confirmed that the relationship had ended, explaining that things simply didn’t work out between them.
“I’m still cool with her,” he said at the time, indicating that there was no bad blood between them.
Since rising to fame under Davido’s music label, Mayorkun has remained one of Nigeria’s most prominent music stars, known for his catchy hits and energetic performances.
