The Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowere, on Sunday, knocked the outgoing president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari as he exited his official residence in Aso Villa after his tenure ended today.
The political activist and social commentator, who posted Buhari’s exit video on his Twitter handle, captioned it with, “The end of an error.”
The convener of “Resolution Now,” who also contested the last presidential election, has been one of the social activists who have always criticized the activities of the political officeholders in the country.
Mr Buhari, whose uninterrupted two-term tenor of 8 years ended on Sunday, will be handing over to the newly elected president, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as the 16th elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Monday, May 29, 2023.
However, Mr Buhari will be retiring to his country home in Daura, North-Western part of the country, tomorrow, as he always says.
