Arsenal have reportedly placed Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman on their transfer radar, but they’ll have to fend off interest from Manchester United and Juventus for the in-demand winger.
According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, the Gunners are weighing up a potential summer move for the 27-year-old Nigerian international, who is said to be keen on “taking the next step” in his career.
However, United and Juventus are also monitoring the situation closely, with both clubs considering a swoop.
Lookman’s transformation from a peripheral figure at RB Leipzig to a European title winner with Atalanta has caught the attention of top clubs across Europe.
But with his current deal running until 2027, Atalanta are expected to demand a substantial fee for his services.
Speculation surrounding his future intensified following a reported fallout with manager Gian Piero Gasperini.
The Super Eagles star hit out at the Atalanta boss for making “deeply disrespectful” remarks after he missed a penalty in a Champions League clash earlier this year.
